Fish Stocking Activity to Safeguard Water Ecology and Practice Green Corporate Responsibility

Guided by the philosophy of “Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, Xinfuxing Glass Industry Group takes proactive steps to preserve aquatic ecosystems and protect drinking water safety for local communities.

On July 25, led by Dai Yongfeng, Director of the Group’s Finance Center, Xinfuxing employee representatives joined a public welfare fish-stocking campaign at Dongzhang Reservoir (Shizhu Lake), the key water source supplying millions of residents in Fuqing. Under the guidance of Fuqing Water Investment Group staff, the team released thousands of silver carp and bighead carp fry into the reservoir.

These filter-feeding fry act as natural ecological guardians. They consume aquatic algae and organic residues, effectively mitigating water eutrophication, lowering nitrogen and phosphorus levels, and boosting the reservoir’s self-purification capability and ecological balance to secure local drinking water quality.
